Nestlé Global Families Campaign

This production stretched around the world — literally! I directed the Global Families campaign for our incredible partners at Nestlé. Just in time for the holiday season, the campaign celebrates the Nestlé products at the heart of family traditions around the world. To authentically capture each region’s unique qualities, we built a team of global artists. Representing six different countries (and timezones!), we invited each illustrator to bring their own background and personal style to their region’s spot. The result was a huge cast of characters and settings, each richly illustrating a different cultural market of the Nestlé brand. I'm so thankful for this team and proud to share the work we made together.

Character Design

Around the Table

Our huge cast of characters on the projects spans around the world. The unique character designs of each region were paired with a specific motion language to suit the style and best convey the warmth of family togetherness.

Visual Development

A Global Team

Our global artists added special touches to the storytelling of each region. From the Egyptian feluccas, to the traditional Malaysian plate patterning, to the Colombian architecture, each spot takes the audience on a personal journey with the artist into their cultural heritage.



Family in Motion

We built the animation approach from the campaign tagline "Around the table and around the world. Nestlé brings families together." Through rotation, we pivot from fantastical worlds of the product to intimate family gatherings. A unique motion approach was adopted for each region to compliment the visual style.
